October 7-11, 2024, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Grades 1-6) To the desert and beyond! Connect with nature at the Desert Museum's Fall Break Day Camp. Campers will explore human relationships with the Sonoran Desert through science, crafts, play, and live animal encounters. Campers will leave with an understanding of their role in the desert and ways to explore nature in their own lives, using science to make their own desert discoveries.
Experience the quality of professional Canon camera equipment while exploring the scenic grounds of the Desert Museum, with free one-hour equipment loans and one free print per photographer. Bring an SD card, your ID, and a credit card to participate! Also, enjoy a Multiple Exposure workshop with instructor Madison Hood at 11:00 a.m. This Art Institute event is offered in partnership with Tempe Camera.
